Our client, a reputable Group of Companies, is looking for an experienced procurement  Officer/Buyer to be based in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities

• To procure materials and subcontract in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.
• Negotiate pricing contracts with suppliers 
• Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials and equipment for the business
• Establish new relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate resources 
• Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability 
• Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes 
• Forecast upcoming demand  

Qualifications

• Degree in Procurement 
• Excellent computer skills especially Exel and Outlook.
• Very fluent in English.
• Procurement/Buyer experience in construction, r
• Good knowledge of SAP system.
