Today the President of Tanzania, Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan  met with leaders of the Catholic Church in Dar es Salaam where she explained the efforts she is taking in growing the national economy.

“We are committed to sustaining economic growth efforts to tackle poverty and unemployment,” said The President.

President Samia added: “Our top priority is to improve the business environment for the well-being of the private sector.”

“We also promote our main sectors of the economy which are agriculture, livestock, fisheries, industry, mining and tourism,” she said.

In a continuation of the promotion of a conducive business environment, President Samia will tomorrow (June 26, 2021) chair a session of theTanzania National Business Council  (TNBC).
