TSN is the oldest medi house in Tanzania, and its operation dates back in the 1930s. The Government vested TSN with the responsibilities of investment in publication and distribution of newspapers.
The Company publishes Daily News, Sunday News, HabariLeo and SpotiLeo as well as online editions of these newspaper.

Position: Writer

Stary Scale: TSN3
Duty Station: Dar es Salaam
Directorate/Unit: Editorial.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Writes stories, features and commentaries
• Checks accuracy and facts
• Translates stories, features and commentaries
• Develops individual objectives/targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the Head of Section
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Section

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field PLUS a Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication or equivalent qualification from recognized institutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to end users within TSN
• Creates, initiates and develops desktop computing environment in TSN
• Installs software programs and applications
• Develops individual targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the head of section; and
• Performs any duties as might be assigned by the Head of Section/Unit/Directorate

Qualifications and Experience Holder of a Diploma (NTA 6) in Computer Science, information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent computer qualifications from a recognized institution

Position: Clerk II

Duties & Responsibilities

• Keeps records of sales orders and relevant supporting documents
• Prepares newspapers ads cuttings for invoicing Directs and attends to customers
• Conducts regular literature and internet surveys of mineral prices to establish prevailing local and international markets indicator mineral prices
• Develops individual targets and performance standards as part of individual performance agreement in consultation with the Head of Section
• Performs other duties as assigned by Head of Section

Qualifications and Experience Holder of a Diploma in Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Marketing, Sales and Marketing, Advertisement, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institution.

• Operates printing machine Responsible for operating the machine as per operating manual
• Develops individual objectives/targets and performance standards as part of individual performance agreement in consultation with the head of section
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Section

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)/Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) plus Certificate in Printing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• In addition, the candidate must be competent in relevant computer applications.
