    Sudan minister appeals to young as protests near seventh week

    KHARTOUM (Reuters) – Sudan’s defence minister said on Monday that young people caught up in recent turmoil had “reasonable ambition”, the second apparently conciliatory gesture in three days from a senior government figure.
