Tanzanian President Samia Holds Talks with her Chinese Counterpart Xi Jinping

Tanzanian President Samia Hassan on today held bilateral talks with her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in a phone call, a statement from Tanzanian Presidential Communication Directorate said.

The statement said the two sides had agreed to promote cooperation in the fields of economic, cultural and international cooperation. 

“China is committed to further opening its market to Tanzanian products as well as increasing investment, especially in the manufacturing sector,” said a statement.

According to the statement, China has pledged to support the efforts of the Sixth Phase Government in the implementation of development projects in various fields.
