Brazil Agree to Strengthen Tanzanian Soccer, Boxing

Tanzania’s Minister for Sports, Hon. Innocent Bashungwa met envoys from Brazil on the occasion of International Olympic Day where they discussed cooperation in the sports industry.

Envoys who Hon. The Minister who met them  in Dodoma is Mr. Paul Pan from International Promotion Through Sports and Mr. Flavio Pazeto from the Brazilian Embassy in the country.

“The bilateral meeting discussed the promotion of football and boxing matches by introducing a coach exchange program,” said a statement of Tanzanian Ministry of Sports.

Agreement to be signed between Tanzania and the Institute headed by Mr. Pan will provide an opportunity to meet with the olympic committee and UNESCO to look at how to fund the country’s sports development fund.

The government of President Samia Hassan is implementing economic diplomacy which benefit all sectors in the country including sports, health and education.
